Plurk has been banned in China.

Yes, you read that right. Plurk have yet to have any contact with the government, but most suspect it’s due to freedom of speech – China have also banned YouTube, wordpress.com, a part of Wikipedia, Wordpress.com and others… however Twitter seems to still be accessible in China – interesting.

Google and other big websites censor themselves in China, Google search (US) is not available, and Google search (China) is censored, along with many other websites which do the same.

Apparently Facebook and Twitter were also banned – before the Olympic games, but they are now (we believe) available to use… the question is, what did they do to get unbanned?

I woke up in a shock today. Plurk has been blocked by the great firewall of China. We haven’t been warned or have been in any contact with the Chinese government – - so the reason is blurry.

We think it’s very unlikely that we will censor or suppress freedom of speech of our users – as we see freedom of speech as a basic human right. It’s known thought that other big corporations such as Google, Skype, AOL etc. are censoring for the chinese government and probably indirectly putting people in jail.

We feel terribly bad for the thousands of Chinese plurkers that have been affected by this and in shock that their government can do such a bold censorship :-(

Please advise if you have any information on how to handle an unblocking.

Thursday.

Well, Its been a long timesince my last update. I just updated my blog noow. (: . I'm not yet fully recovered, my left hand has a Big-Black-Wild-Bruise lol and having some pain and bad injury. naaaaaah. I can't help myself because of this damn it. I want to plaay Ragnarok Online but i can't because of this err. Anyway I can handle it just for Cassandra ((: and i am veryy happy because this coming month of June is our 1st anniversary, it is on June 26. Well, i'm missing her right noow and i can't help it. I'm so excited to see her. On June 6 is her flight to Qatar and maybe June 7, she will be here. (: . But June 7 is the First day of school well because of thaat i'm pretty excited in this coming First day of school. I want to see some new faces of my new classmates and new teachers but i don't have a plan to take a look in our "High-school level head teacher Mr. Balbedina". I don't want to see his face anymooore. Maybe, if i saw his face i will get a 1 week nightmare every night. lol ((: . That's all. For "PISQ" students get well soon and i hope to see you on teh f*ck!ng 1st of schoool. (:

Well, tomorrow is the farewell partyy and i'm sad because my friend and our firend is going to the Philippines. And I admit that i'll be missing him even though we had so muuch argues before, i'll be missing him because he's a good friend to me. We will be missing you my friend. Uhm friendly syang tao sayang at nagkaganun. Even if we're not that close i'll still miss him cause before we had so muuch fun. We will missed him so muuch. We're still hoping that he will come back here in Qatar and studyy at PISQ. I hope that it will happen sooner or later. Farewell to you my friend. (:

I like this song. It's my song for my Princess. I really like it. It describes her. And it describes our "Love Storyy". Well shes not the kind of the girl that you always play with her feelings. You can't ignore her. She has a power of something. :)). She's so different from the other girls. That's why i love her so muuch. She can write a song. Well, me too I can wrote a song. :). She's simple in other waay which is i like it the most of her attitutes. When i'm with her, i can't explain what's exactly my feelings. It's so different, she can make my world so colorful and wonderful. She can even make me smile in the other waay. Sometimes, hinde ko na mapansin na naka-smile na pala ako. It giggles me most everytime she kiss me. I feel like i'm floating and riding on a cloud. Her voice makes me laugh,giggle. Her voice was so cute. She can sing veryy well and my dream is to have a duet with her. She's the girl i want to marry someday. I want to make my dreams come true with her.
